Symbolic Systems Distinguished Teaching Award - Danya Adib-Azpetia ('22, M.S. '23), Evan Wisner ('22, M.S. '23), and David Gottlieb

Congratulations to Symbolic Systems graduates Danya Adib-Azpetia ('22, M.S., '23) and Evan Knickerbocker Wisner ('22, M.S. '23), as well as David Gottlieb (Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy) who are the recipients this year of the Symbolic Systems Program's Distinguished Teaching Award.

Danya and Evan were head teaching assistants in our introductory course "Minds and Machines" (SYMSYS 1, which is also cross-listed as CS 24 / LINGUIST 35 / PSYCH 35 / PHIL 99 / SYMSYS 200). David receives the award for his dedicated and thoughtful teaching of SYMSYS 1 during three consecutive summer sessions. 

The Symbolic Systems Distinguished Teaching Award recognizes contributions to the teaching of Symbolic Systems students. Award recipients each receive a certificate and a monetary award.
